Objectives

* Discover the fate of the Ebon Vanguard.
* Search Grothmar Wardowns for signs of the Vanguard.

After exiting Longeye's Ledge head East down the path until you reach the Tattered Vanguard Clothing, after that head South, there you will reach a Vanguard Helmet. Examine it to complete the quest.
